Message I am not communicating with the ECU, those codes are "to kill for". No where can you find it. I am splicing into the wiring harness just before the ECU to get to the sensor information and I have built my own harness to go from the DAQ board to a 16 channel bolt down block. From there I have attached the ECU extension lines to the distribution block.

: or do you select which ones you want. I've been wanting to do this project too (with a laptop and PCMCIA DAQ card) and I was wondering how you connected to the ECU. Did you just splice into the wires going into the ECU? Do you communicate with the ECU in any way (to get error codes for example)or just monitor the signals? If you do, could you point me to a reference on how to talk to the ECU?

: Thanks,
Scott
